The Center for Revenue Cycle Excellence was established to be your premier training provider from HIPAA standards, to the current COVID-19 pandemic, so that staff is prepared to handle forthcoming regulatory and policy changes affecting all healthcare providers.

Our Mission

HBS Center of Revenue Cycle Excellence is an academic community composed of students, faculty, and professional staff. The mission of the school is to prepare individuals with the necessary background for positions in Revenue Cycle Operations and to provide the larger community with opportunities for professional and organizational growth in the business of healthcare.

We offer a wide range of course material to fit any organizational need. Our curriculum focuses on all components of the revenue cycle, with emphasis on specific functions within Patient Access and Patient Accounting. Students can also receive system training on various Patient Accounting applications so that they become as proficient as any PFS employee with multiple years on the job. We customize our curriculum to cover your specific workflows and software and provide classroom training and testing on-site at your facility for unparalleled convenience. Students will receive nationally recognized certifications and CEUs.

Certifications

We strongly believe that a highly trained revenue cycle specialist should also be certified in their appropriate field. Students are highly encouraged to seek professional certifications that will enhance their career opportunities. We offer the following certification programs during various times throughout the calendar year, consistent with the exam dates published by the Florida Certification Board (FCB) and AAHAM.

Extension Program
